Enrolling Your Child
ENROLLMENT PROCESS
Full-time and part-time enrollment is available at First Class Child Development Center. Full-time represents the hours of operation of 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. During the school year, the tuition for full-time students takes into account non-school days when care is available at no additional charge. Part-time programs are available for toddlers and preschool children. Part-time programs available include a five half day, three full day or two full day program. The tuition for after school students includes before and after school transportation as well as care on non-school days. Tuition is slightly higher during the summer months.
ADMINISTRATIVE FORMS
Before your child can participate in our program, all forms must be completed and processed by our administrative staff. Included in your enrollment packet are the following forms:

- Health and Immunization
- Medical Release
- Parent’s Acknowledgement for “Parent’s Handbook”
GRADUAL ENROLLMENT
We have found that a gradual enrollment process is the most effective way to minimize separation anxiety between children and parents. Giving a child an adjustment period helps them to become more familiar with the new environment before being left alone for the first time.
The gradual enrollment process takes one to two days. Please plan to accompany your child on a school visit/tour for up to one hour. The next visit, drop your child off (at approximately the time you would normally drop him/her off as part of your routine) for one to two hours. The following day drop your child off for half of the day (arriving at approximately the same time as the day before); children enrolled for a half-day schedule will consider this day as their first day of enrollment. Full-time children will be dropped off the third day as their first day of enrollment. Gradual enrollment visits are offered at no charge.
If gradual enrollment visits are not possible, please plan to spend a few minutes with your child at the center in the morning or evening of your child’s first day.
