What Age Is Right For Our Preschool?

At FCCD, we’re all for children learning about themselves and others while seeking solutions to problems. In other words, we’re always on the lookout for age-appropriate ways to teach them about problem solving, providing them with crucial tools that they can carry all the way through school and into adulthood. Research has shown that children do best in environments that are stress-free, and we go above and beyond to foster a space that allows your children to learn without any stressors.
We also encourage creative play as a method of learning problem solving in addition to math, science, social studies, health, and various other subjects. We pride ourselves on creating an atmosphere that is positive, encouraging, and creative for your child. It can be hard to send your kiddo off on his or her own, but we want you to rest assured that we’ve worked hard to create a preschool program that utilizes the latest research and the most time-tested methods for teaching your kids. No matter what you hope for your child to get out of the experience, you can count on us to offer a number of beneficial activities designed to give your kids exactly what they need.
What Should You Bring?
Needless to say, it’s best to send your kids to school with a couple of items to ensure that they’re able to make it through the day. We recommend a change of clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste, a comb, a blanket, and something that your child loves and finds comfort in like a stuffed animal.
Other than that, simply bring your child in and let us take care of the rest! We’ll supply everything from building blocks to play dough to paper and crayons to ingredients for cooking.
